Geocells
The Geocells are a three-dimensional cellular confinement system that allows, through the creation of an artificial soil, to achieve a good compaction of the land, a good drainage and the establishment of the vegetation.
The geocells installed in a slope retain the filling material. In the same way, in a cellular confinement system, the flow of water produced by rain is slowed down. This action reduces or eliminates the formation of furrows or rills that constitute one of the main causes of soil erosion. In addition, the water trapped in the cells slides through the land of the filling which favors the growth of the plants.
they are an aesthetic and economic alternative to gabions.
